How to Study at the Faculty
With its 200-year history, the University of Bonn enjoys an excellent reputation in Germany and abroad. Around 35,000 students are currently enrolled here, including more than 5,000 students from abroad who add to the international atmosphere. The University of Bonn has had six Clusters of Excellence since January 2019, more than any other university in Germany. They include PhenoRob (Robotics and Phenotyping for Sustainable Crop Production), the only Cluster of Excellence in the area of agriculture in Germany.

According to the QS World University Ranking by subject 2021: Agriculture & Forestry the University of Bonn Faculty of Agriculture is in the Top 100 worldwide. It consists of 6 Institutes specializing in nutrition and food sciences, geodesy and geoinformation, food and resource economics, agricultural engineering, crop science and resource conservation and animal sciences.
If you would like to enter a degree program at the Faculty of Agriculture, an overview of all degree programs is available here. English-language courses are offered in the three international master's degree programs AFECO, ARTS and Geodetic Engineering.
