In project A04, we are looking for a Postdoc researcher in the field of radar polarimetry, with a background in processing of radar data, their microphysical information content, and optimally experience in their application for model evaluation using forward operators and/or retrievals.

In project A05, we are looking for a PhD student with a background in agricultural economics or related fields. Our research plan requires interest and expertise in production economics and behavioral experiments as well as methodological skills in econometrics and efficiency analysis.

In project B01, we are looking for a PhD student in the field of geodesy, with a background in geodesy, hydrological modelling and satellite altimetry. Programming, Skills in GIS and modelling experience would be considered an asset.

In project B04, we are looking for two PhD students in the field of agricultural economics, with some experience in quantitative analysis/data science and an interest in (Bayesian) Econometrics/Machine Learning. One PhD student, supervised by Prof Heckelei, will focus on the Bayesian approach to merge existing data sources. The second PhD student, supervised by Dr Storm, focuses on combining data driven deep learning approaches with econometric approaches considering economic or biophysical information.
